A significant crowd turned out June 19 for T.A. Forsberg, Inc.’s grand opening of Elevation at Okemos, a new luxury apartment, retail and community space. The event featured popular musician Phil Denny, food and beverages and tours the space’s two-bedroom apartment units. A silent auction benefitting the Sparrow Foundation also took place.
As the newest housing development in Meridian Township, Elevation’s goal is to go beyond luxury living to create a dynamic community connected to nature.
The buildings feature cor-ten steel cladding, natural stone, and exposed steel structures reminiscent of a mountain lodge. Amenities will include the on-site gym, scenic nature trails, outdoor common areas, covered parking and close proximity to Okemos Schools.
“This has been years in the making. It’s something architecturally that hasn’t been seen in this area,” Brent Forsberg, of T.A. Forsberg said. “The walkability and the lifestyle are going to be really exciting.”
Inside each unit, residents will find gourmet kitchens, upgraded appliance packages, smart lock technology to access residencies with an iPhone, and more.
Buzz at the grand opening was positive, with many guests commenting on the architecture and overall design of the exterior, while also enjoying the high-end look of the interior of the unit shown during tours.
Cindy Kosloski, Chief Executive Officer of the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Greater Lansing, was among the nearly 500 attendees and was impressed. “Elevation is a development that is more than just a place to live, it’s a lifestyle. The units are beautiful and unique. It’s close to shopping, trails and entertainment. It’s luxury living!” Kosloski explained.
Elevation has begun taking applications from those looking to become a resident or own a space within the new Okemos development. Residents will be able to begin moving in when the property officially opens in July. For more information, visit elevationokemos.com/.
