The sixth annual premier pitch competition will award $100,000 in total cash prizes.

The GreenLight Business Model Competition (GBMC) is an early-stage pitch competition bringing together entrepreneurs and small business supporters from across Michigan. Finalists of the competition pitch ideas to a panel of expert judges for an opportunity to network with angel and venture capital investors statewide.

Co-created by Spartan Innovations and Michigan State University Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU), GreenLight Michigan’s 2018 sponsors are McLaren Greater Lansing, MSUFCU and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.

The sixth annual premier pitch competition will award $100,000 in total cash prizes and twenty teams have been selected to compete. This year’s event will include the winner of TC New Tech’s regional pitch contest, which took place earlier this month in Traverse City.

The finalists will present their business concepts in front of an expert panel and live audience at the Wharton Center for Performing Arts’ Pasant Theatre located on the campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing on Wednesday, March 28, from 4 to 8 p.m.
