Lego Store Makes a Local Connection

Things seemed to click for Evin Borin and Salima Matariyeh in 2023, and the tower of success they built throughout the year is set to keep growing into the new year brick by brick.

“My wife and I started selling online in the evenings as kind of a side project a couple years ago,” Borin said. “Then we started getting into more specialized parts and pieces, mainly minifig related. Last year (2022), we got so busy we were overwhelmed. So, we decided we were going to have to stop altogether or see if a storefront was possible.”

The online Lego store they operated for a few years became too busy for them to handle just selling the products in the evenings. So, in March they reached out to Bricks & Minifigs to open a franchise in a Delta Township shopping center.
