Local Pickleball Sportwear Line Goes National

You could say it’s kind of a big dill.

East Lansing entrepreneurs Jodi “Jojo” Wujkowski and Lori “Lo” Bosch are relishing the spotlight as their local business — Jojo+Lo Pickleball Wear ~ with Flair — launches nationally on Pickleball Central.

“When we started our business, our long-term vision was for Pickleball Central to carry our brand,” said Bosch. “Pickleball Central is the world’s largest online superstore, carrying over 60 pickleball brands like Fila, Prince, Wilson and Eleven by Venus Williams. We never imagined that our dream would come true in a year.”

Jojo+Lo Pickleball first attracted the interest of Pickleball Central when the co-founders set-up their pop-up shop next to the Pickleball Central’s shop at the Arizona Grand Slam in Mesa, Arizona — a five-day Professional Pickleball Association tournament held in February 2022.

“The crew at Pickleball Central was so friendly and excited about our products. We were thrilled because they made numerous visits to our shop, buying up our tees, hats and sweatshirts for themselves to wear because they hadn’t seen anything like our merchandise,” said Bosch.

In the past year, Pickleball Central took Jojo+Lo’s merchandise on tour to major pickleball tournaments across the country, and the local name became one of Pickleball Central’s top-selling brands.

“Jojo+Lo’s trendy pickleball designs caught our attention. Our customers love the variety they offer and the quality of their products,” said Pickleball Central Director of Retail Operations Nicole Smith.

Recently, Pickleball Central placed a wholesale order for eight of Jojo+Lo’s most popular pickleball T-shirts, sweatshirts and hats, which the company will sell online at pickleballcentral.com in May.

“For a special Mother’s Day launch of our brand, Jojo who is a graphic artist, created an exclusive collection for Pickleball Central called, ‘Dink Like a Girl,’ with five matching tees, tanks and a trucker cap for mothers and daughters who love playing pickleball together,” said Bosch. “Our goals align with Pickleball Central because, like us, they are committed to innovation, honesty, superior customer service and they strive to be the best that they can possibly be.”
