  • Visiting Virtually
In this digital age, there are tons of ways to be able to talk, text or see someone via video. Even if it is virtual, this is still a great way of connecting with people and catching up. You can play online games, watch videos and even listen to music together.
  • Send Care Packages
The same way that people deployed overseas need a little something from home, people who are away from their loved ones enjoy when somebody puts the time into getting them some of their favorite things. It does not have to be big, but some cookies and a handmade card can make someone’s week.
  • Holidays and Special Occasions
Be sure to check in on your loved ones, especially during holidays or special occasions. Try to make special occasions more memorable by taking the extra time with loved ones.
  • Know Your News Limit
Staying informed is always good, but it can be taxing on mental health. Make sure loved ones keep informed but also take time off for their mental health.
  • Dance Like No One Is Watching
Now is the time to mix it up to take a spontaneous walk or drive, or learn a new dance online. Breaking that daily grind by learning something new or mixing up a routine can get the mind off the world around you and raise your mood.
