McLaren Loves Lansing Event Celebrates the City

It’s time for the third annual McLaren Loves Lansing event at LBC!

Anyone who lives, works and plays in Lansing is invited to attend an event this month in celebration of all the city has to offer.

The third annual McLaren Loves Lansing event is scheduled for 7 p.m. Aug. 27 until 1 a.m. Aug. 28 at Lansing Brewing Co., 518 E. Shiawassee St. The fundraiser for the McLaren Greater Lansing Foundation’s Campaign for Care includes food, drinks, music and prizes. The Campaign for Care program supports programs and services of McLaren Greater Lansing as a community asset in safe and efficient health care.

McLaren Loves Lansing is a strolling event that invites guests to celebrate all the things to love about McLaren Greater Lansing and the city that it supports. Guests will enjoy a buffet of unique food options, local beer and desserts, a chance to win prizes, and more. The evening will feature food offerings from such establishments as Big Cheezy Grill, Fire and Rice and Everything is Cheesecake, as well as musical performances from local favorites Starfarm and Whiskey Diski and the Barrel Boys.

A to-go food and beverage option featuring Lansing Brewing Co. will be available again this year for those looking to support the fundraiser from home. To-go vouchers can be purchased just like an individual event ticket, and food can be picked at Lansing Brewing Co. before the in-person event begins.

The Sparrow Advantage

The year’s event co-chairs are Chip and Katie Taunt of Michigan Orthopedic Center, the festival sponsor.

Tickets for McLaren Loves Lansing are $100, which includes food drinks and entertainment. To register for the event, visit mclaren.org/mclarenll.
