VCF Hiring Event to Bring Jobs to Lansing

Value City Furniture, VCF, took possession of the former Art Van of Lansing on June 6 and opened it for liquidation of Art Van products at the end of July.

With the actual VCF store expected to open in early November, the company is holding a hiring event in Lansing from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 17 at 8748 W. Saginaw Highway in Lansing.

VCF has already made 125 hires across the state and plans to fill an additional 100 positions in the coming months.

The company said those wondering how the event will work during pandemic can rest assured. “Safety is VCF’s top priority during these hiring events,” said American Signature Inc. Chief Marketing Officer Alejandro Alvarez. “Masks or facial coverings are required for all applicants in attendance. The hiring team on-site will also enforce 6-foot social distancing protocols in any lines that may form during the event, as well as during the interview process.”

Applicants should have plenty of resumes on hand, as well as come wearing a mask.
