The State of Threads and X

Social media has provided a space for marketing, social networking, lead generation and audience engagement. However, not all social media platforms are identical and don’t serve every user similarly. 

In light of Twitter’s transition to X and the emergence of Meta’s newest platform, Threads, some consumers are abandoning their long-standing accounts to seek platforms that better serve their needs. 

Businesses utilizing social media for advertising or marketing purposes have mostly shifted away from X, although it hasn’t ever been considered a solid tool. Joe Karasin, founder and chief marketing officer of digital marketing company Karasin PPC, said there’s some ambiguity surrounding X.
