With the holidays in full swing, who has time for making crafts? We are busy shopping and trying to get those last-minute gifts for family and friends.
This month I wanted a craft that would be quick, easy and something fun my little elf could help with too.
When I was trying to decide what I wanted to make, I thought it would be great to create something I would be able to use for holiday entertaining. A friend was telling me about a craft idea that sounded pretty awesome; however, I didn’t think it really work. So I decided to put it to the test and create my very own peppermint platter. To my surprise it worked tremendously!
I have to say this is one of the easiest crafts I’ve ever done. Trust me, you do not have to be an experienced crafter to master this task. Now, I have a serving tray to display my favorite cookies on while entertaining guest this holiday season.
This can also be done with crushed up peppermint candy or candy canes. You can make this in any shape or size you choose. You can also create large peppermint lollipops or even ornaments for your tree by putting a hole in the melted candy using a straw.
I would love to see your finished Quick Craft. If you create this craft or any of the crafts featured in the DIY Quick Craft please take a picture and email it to me at Jhodges@CAWLM.com. Happy Crafting!
