Greater Lansing Hosting Seven National, Regional Sport Events

Skill and athleticism take center stage this spring in mid-Michigan.

Seven sports events will bring more than 3,000 athletes and additional thousands of coaches, families and spectators to the Greater Lansing area throughout April. The Lansing Sports Commission is hosting the USA Hockey Nationals, NCAA women’s bowling, Midwest Fencing Championships and more.

“Greater Lansing is excited to welcome thousands of athletes from across the country next month,” said Meghan Ziehmer, executive director for the Lansing Sports Commission. “Events like these fuel our local economy and support local hotels, restaurants and venues. It’s a true team effort, and we’re grateful for our partners and volunteers who make it all possible.”
