Tobi Lyon is the New Face for Business Development at C2AE

Independent Bank receives Financial Literacy Award
Independent Bank has been recognized for its 2010 financial literacy efforts by the Michigan Bankers Association with the 2011 MBA Financial Literacy Award.
Independent Bank reached more than 20,000 individuals through its financial literacy efforts. Cooley Law School Stadium Receives SERF Certification
The outfield isn’t the only thing that’s green at Cooley Law School Stadium. The building recently earned certification by the Society of Environmentally Responsible Facilities (SERF).
SERF certifications provide property owners an opportunity to highlight their commitment to environmental responsibility. SERF awards certifications to buildings that meet their set of green industry building and management standards.

New Monthly Show Filmed at Perspective2 Studio in Old Town
Beginning last month 6 in the City, an hour-long show featuring the six women who anchor at 6 News on WLNS, is being filmed at Perspective2 Studio in Old Town in front of a live audience.
Viewers will have the chance to see the women in a relaxed environment, discussing what it’s like to be a mother, sister, wife and friend. They’ll also introduce viewers to people in the community. Filming in Old Town will give the 6 in the City anchors access to some of Lansing’s cultural opportunities that can only be found in Lansing’s arts and entertainment district.

MSUFCU Experiences Immense Growth
In order to better serve growing membership, MSU Federal Credit Union was pleased to hire many new employees in 2010. Eighty-three hires were welcomed to MSUFCU, with a total of 27 new positions created.
